Barbara Morgan - Executive Producer

Barbara Morgan co-founded the Austin Film Festival in 1993 and has served as sole Executive Director since 1999.  Morgan produced the film Natural Selection, co-produced the documentary Antones: Home of the Blues, the documentary, Portrait of Wally, and the narrative feature film, Spring Eddy.  Additionally, Morgan serves as Executive Producer on the On Story Television and Radio programs and has produced four feature films, and sits on the boards of Dell Children’s Blood and Cancer Center, the International Film Festival Summit and the Wittliff Collections at Texas State University, among others.


BRIAN RAMOS - Radio/Podcast Producer

Brian Ramos is a composer, producer, mix engineer and sound designer in Austin whose work includes records with Charanga Cakewalk, Grupo Fantasma, and Master Blaster Sound System. His music has appeared on HBO, ESPN, AMC, PBS, A&E and FX as well as in several feature films, local/national advertisements and independent shorts.


Maya Perez - Producer

Maya Perez is a screenwriter and fiction writer. She is co-editor of On Story: Screenwriters andTheir Craft and On Story: Screenwriters and Filmmakers on Their Iconic Films. Perez is a former Michener Fellow, Sundance Screenwriters Intensive Fellow, and New York Stage & Film Emerging Filmmaker. She holds a BA from Vassar College and an MFA from the University of Texas at Austin. Her stories have appeared in The Masters Review and Electric Literature. She lives in Austin, Texas, with her husband, artist Johnny Walker, and their daughter. 


Miguel Alvarez - Executive Producer

Austin-based filmmaker Miguel Alvarez has received awards from the Directors' Guild of America, Panavision's Emerging Filmmakers Program, the National Hispanic Foundation for the Arts, the National Association of Latino Arts and Culture, and the Texas Filmmakers Production Fund for his short film work. Most recently he was a Screenwriting Fellow for the 2013 Latino Screenwriting Project sponsored by Cinefestival and Sundance. He holds an MFA from the University of Texas at Austin.
