Work Sample: On Story Project

Austin Film Festival’s On Story podcast launched in November 2012 as an audio companion to its television show. The podcasts are free and accessible to stream or download, and with downloads surpassing 1,000,000 listeners in January of 2017.

The first On Story radio show debuted on Austin’s NPR affiliate-station KUT in February 2015, featuring 11 hour-long episodes in its first season. Its immediate success led to a distribution partnership with Public Radio International by its second season. Now it its 5th season, the one-hour program can be heard on over a dozen stations nationwide, for free.
